Course Description:
This class is intended to be a basic introduction to cooking. We will cover kitchen safety, food safety, basic knife skills, how to read a recipe and measure ingredients, how to multiply or cut down a recipe, and learn to know our way around a kitchen. I am planning on having the class cook lunch for the parents once a month. Depending on the comfort level of the class we may spend some time later in the year with experimental cooking, and deviating from recipes.
**Due to the size of the kitchen, I’m limiting the class size to 8 kids.
